SAP has released a new range of cloud products based on a microservices architecture, offering new capabilities for order configuration, pricing, quoting, order orchestration and subscription billing.
SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud is an extension of the company’s customer engagement and commerce cloud suite, to allow enterprises to integrate billing strategically rather than tactically into their digital business models.
The solution, which can run on SAP Hybris as a Service, will initially be available in the United States, followed by other countries during 2017. It will include a series of editions designed for different enterprise needs.
“Client business models are changing, and digital is at the forefront of every customer interaction across all channels,” said Brian Walker, chief strategy officer, SAP Hybris.
“With the addition of SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud to our portfolio of cloud solutions, we are ideally positioned to help clients take advantage of disruption occurring in their markets, develop new business models, and focus on what really matters – delivering outstanding customer experiences.”
To overcome issues with siloed financial and operational data, SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud allows customers to connect to SAP S/4HANA for a single view. It also enables the handling of orders across multiple fulfilment and service delivery platforms.
SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud could work as a stand-alone solution or as an integrated part of the SAP Hyrbis cloud portfolio.
Perhaps the first customer for the new solution will come from within its own ranks – Concur will itself consolidate on SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud to help transform its entire quote-to-cash process, which previously ran on a mix of cloud products.
